Janet Gandolfo started her term as president of the NJDCEA on January 24, 2022. Prior to stepping into the office of president she served as a Court Attorney Referee in the Supreme Court, Westchester County. She describes her role in the NJDCEA as an opportunity to further the best interests of all NJDCEA members in the workplace – an opportunity to which she is truly dedicated. Her background working in the court system, and as a practicing attorney for 45 years and former mayor of the Village of Sleepy Hollow has prepared her for the challenges union members face on a daily basis. She resides in Sleepy Hollow with her two children, Rosie and Jack, and their rescue dog, Penny.
